How you can plant trees for free with Treeapp!
I first heard of TreeApp a few months ago when an account I follow on Instagram recommended it. The app allows you to look at one advert for an interesting sustainable product or business each day and in return they will plant one tree in your chosen location.
There are options of tree planting initiatives in high impact regions all around the world from Madagascar to Peru and Brazil to Nepal. TreeApp provides you with interesting information about each project that you are helping to support including the species that you are helping to protect, the amount of carbon the project has captured and the current size of the area planted. This helps you to know where your effort is being felt.
TreeApp also lets you calculate your annual carbon footprint and shows you how much carbon has been captured by the trees that you have planted. Through this, you can see whether you are carbon negative that month or year. As of August 2022 I have captured enough carbon to equate to 36 flights from London to Paris. This knowledge shows you the good that your small contribution of time has produced.
This is not a sponsored post, I am just trying to spread knowledge of one of my favourite apps. It provides a way to do a little bit of good in the world each day and to let you see how that good accumulates over time.
Just search TreeApp in the App Store or Google Play!
