All deliveries from Green Skye are carbon neutral. This is achieved through an algorithm based on peer reviewed studies and industry data which calculates the amount of CO2 each individual parcel releases into the atmosphere through its delivery. The distance travelled, weight and type of transport are taken into account to calculate this number. The charity Pachama is worked with to determine what environmental work must be done to offset these emissions. 

Emissions are offset through donations towards The Acapa – Bajo Mira y Frontera Forest Conservation Project in Colombia through Pachama. Their efforts in preserving the rainforest remove CO2 from the atmosphere so the amount Green Skye donates funds the removal of carbon equal to the amount produced by the shipping of each parcel. This comes at no extra cost to customers!
